Exercise

Exercise began from a humble place. I had to become willing to be willing to exercise. I was twenty-nine years old and weighed over 260 pounds, so all I could do was walk fifteen minutes at a time. I was so embarrassed that my peers could exercise so much more than me. I turned things around when I became grateful that I could walk for fifteen minutes. Powered by positivity, I focused on increasing this time, and it did expand. Slowly, that fifteen-minute walk turned into thirty minutes. Then that walk progressed into a jog, which turned into a five-kilometer run, which grew to ten kilometers, and finally, a half marathon!

Exercise and physical activity should be enjoyable. It gives you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. Physical activity can also help you connect with family or friends in a fun social setting.

Action Steps:
